If you find yourself looking for love this Valentines Day, where will you look? A bar? The beach?, A bookstore? Or some other place that begins with the letter B.  Many people search years and some a lifetime for the elusive thing called love.  They search high and low leaving no stone un-turned, and yet more often than not love eludes them.

What Is Love Anyway?

And what is love anyway?  How will we know when we have found it.  Where did we get our ideas about love?  And are they really our ideas?  Or are they Hollywood’s ideas?  or Romance Novel’s ideas, or our parent’s ideas?  Think about it for a moment,  where did your ideas about love come from?

If you are a regular reader, you probably already know my feelings about love.  For me love is not something you need to search for or work to achieve.  Love is our natural state of being.  We can find love at anytime, wherever we are, provided we first recognize the love that is within us.

Get Out Of Your Head and Into Your Heart

We need to get out of our heads (and out of our own way) and connect to the loving of our heart.  Love is more a process of allowing the natural loving energy within us to flow freely.  When we allow this to happen, we can find love in bar, the beach, a bookstore, or anyplace we may find ourselves.

And if you are looking for your “Soul-Mate”, know that they are looking for you.  The more you connect to and radiate the loving energy within in you, the easier it will be for them to find you in a crowded room or an empty street.

Love yourself this Valentines Day, and you will find love wherever you are.

In the society that most of us live in it it is all to easy to get caught up in the fear, doubt, chaos, and confusion of our mind.  As part of its intention to keep us safe, the conscious mind is always on the look out for danger.

To the conscious mind anything that is perceived as being a change is dangerous, even if the change is positive.  As a result the conscious mind will conjure up the most awful and horrible scenarios that “could happen” if we pursued our dreams, all in an effort to keep us “safe” (which means keeping us exactly where we are).

The Scare Tactics Of Our Conscious Mind Can Not Be

Overcome At The Level Of Consciousness

The scare tactics of the conscious mind can not be overcome at the mental level.  You need to go deeper.  You need to connect to the deepest part of your heart, and when you do, you will find that all of your fear & doubt will simply melt away.  That is because at the heart level their is unconditional love and support for you and your dreams.  At the heart level is courage, clarity, and wisdom, and the path before you is clear.

We Must Find A Way To Bathe Daily In The Energy

And Love Of Our Heart & Spirit

In the ego centric and mind dominated society that most of us live in it is easy to become disconnected to from our heart.  We must find a way on a daily basis to bathe in the energy and love of our heart, of Spirit.  We must cleanse our selves of the negativity of our conscious and the conscious mind of others.
