It’s Inspirational Wednesday, and today I want to share with you an inspirational speech given over forty years ago.  It is the Eulogy delivered by Edward Kennedy for his brother Robert Kennedy who had been assassinated.

It speaks to many of the common themes I have written about here at The Champions Heart; the peaceful co-existance of all people,  the power within each of us to bring about change in the world (even if it is only our little piece of the world), the need to go step beyond what is comfortable in order to fulfill the potential for greatness that lies within each one of us, etc.

The most quoted line from the speech is “People see things as they are and ask why?  I dream of things that never where and ask why not?”  What a wonderful free and limitless way to look at all that is possible in the world and in our own lives.

I hope and trust you will enjoy listening to this great and inspiring speech, and begin to dream of your own possibilities and ask why not?
