Mitchell Dahood Biography
Mitchell’s journey and exploration into the power of the subconscious mind, began when he was twenty years old. At that time he was very good golfer, and according to nationally recognized coaches at the time, had a swing that was perfect from head to toe.
Yet his performance in competition did not reflect the “perfection” of his swing. He wanted to get to that next level so badly that out of desperation, he then began taking many lessons, from many different instructors. The result was that he became so so lost in the chaos of his mind with all the different thoughts given him by all the different instructors, that his performance became dramatically worse.
Out of frustration, he quit golf all together for a while, and started exploring why it could be that he had developed such tremendous physical skill and yet perform so poorly. He began to read everything he could related to the power of the subconscious mind.
He was so fascinated by the information he was learning that he later studied more formally and became certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy by The Hypnosis Motivation Institute. He found all the information he learned about how people acquire their negative programming, and the tools that can be used to reprogram their minds in a positive way to be immensely valuable.
At the same time, he felt there was a piece of the puzzle that was missing. His search for that missing piece led him to study and receive a Masters degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. It was there that for Mitchell the puzzle of the how the subconscious mind and Spirit can work together to create a life of perfect abundance.
Mitchell believes that the subconscious mind exists to support and create the desires of the heart. The challenge for most people is that their subconscious programming is working against the desires of their heart, and as a result they live a life that is unfulfilled, disconnected, and filled with unecessary pain.
Mitchell’s journey and exploration started out as a discovery of and for himself. That all changed this past year when the pain that Mitchell saw on people’s faces and in their lives called him forward to teach and empower others. While Mitchell believes their is value to be gained from every experience, he also believes that people are experiencing far more pain than is necessary.
Much of this pain is the result of the negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, that people have about themselves. Most if not all of these negatives were formed when they were young children, and based on inaccurate, incomplete, or simply wrong information. Even if they “know better” as adults, unless they are able to access their subconscious mind and change the programming, they will continue to repeat their current life expereince.
It is for this reaon that Mitchell created the Champions Heart. Mitchell’s mission is to empower individuals and organizations around the world to transcend and disolve the negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, in their subconscious mind, in order that they can become more deeply connected to their hearts, to each other, and to Spirit.
While their are many different tools that Mitchell uses in freeing individuals and organizations from the prision of their minds, and they may differ from client to client, Mitchell has developed a powerful five step approach/process to support individuals and organizations to fully express themselves from their heart.
The five steps are as follows:
Step 1:
To identify the negative thoughts, feelings, and beliefs that are holding the individual/organization from moving forward and fully expressing themsevles from their heart.
Step 2:
To facilitate and support the individual/organization in transcending and disolving all the negatives.
Step 3:
To identify the desires of the heart.
Step 4:
To co-create a heart-centered plan of action to manifest into reality the desires of the heart.
Step 5:
Ongoing follow up, support, and coaching as the client moves closer and closer day by day toward that which they which they deserve and desire in their life.
In addition to one-on-one coaching/consulting, Mitchell also frequently writes and speaks on the topics of personal and Spiritual growth. He also spends a significant amount of time developing tools and resources to support individuals on their personal journey’s to reprogram their subconscious mind to support the desires of their heart.
Aside from the mission of The Champions Heart, Mitchell seeks to be fully present and express himself from his heart in all that he thinks, speaks, and does. In those moments when he finds that to be a challenge, he takes a moment to breathe deeply, and give thanks for the many blessings in his life, most notably his beautiful and supportive wife Cristina, his four unconditionally loving cats, and his beautiful home (sanctuary)…and the ability to play golf from the heart, completely stress free, enjoying the beauty of all that surrounds him.
