I had the opportunity and pleasure recently to interview Claire Vangethongo Shields, and and Nina Bothma, Co-founders of Integrating Healing Styles in South Africa. Their primary mission is to empower people to take responsibilty for their health and healing.

Among other things, they have created a unique and beautiful Chakra Poster that incorporates the healing modalities of the East, West, and African Traditions.  This is a wonderful resource for anyone wanting to take responsibility for their health, as well as those whose profession it is to heal others.

The Experience Of A Balanced Solar Plexis Chakra

The Solar Plexis Chakra relates to our personal power, our right to live the life we deserve and desire.  When the Solar Plexis Chakra is balanced, and the energy is flowing freely, we honor and respect ourselves and thereby communicate to others that we are worthy of being treated with respect. We know and accept that we are worthy of the best in life simply because we exist.

The Experience Of An Out Of Balance Solar Plexis Chakra

When the energy of our Solar Plexis Chakra is blocked or out of balance, we may not feel worthy of taking care of ourselves in the manner we deserve.  We may not honor and respect ourselves and our bodies, and as a result we communicate to others not to respect us.

If you recognize that you have one or more relationships in your life where you are being mistreated and disrespected, it is quite likely that there is a block or imbalance of energy in your Solar Plexis Chakra.

Achieving A Perfectly Balanced & Harmonized Solar Plexis Chakra

As has been mentioned in this series already, to remove the block and restore the Chakra to perfect balance and harmony, you can use meditation, visualization, affirmations, color therapy etc.
