To Live The Life Of Your Dreams You Must Answer One Question

There is one vitally important question that you must ask and answer for yourself if want to experience the life you deserve and desire. The question is “Why?” Why do you want the amount of money you say you want? Why do you want the house on the beach? Why do you want to be driving that beautiful luxury automobile? Why do you want that unconditionally loving and supportive relationship.
Chances are you have thought about the things you would like to have in your life, and almost as quickly as you could think of these things, the fear of your conscious mind raised its ugly head and asked you a question “How are going to do that?” Because in that moment you didn’t know the answer, you thought to yourself “I don’t know”. You then gave up on your idea of having that thing.
It Doesn’t Have To Be that Way
That is unfortunate. It didn’t have to be that way, and from this moment on it does not have to be that way. All you need to do is think of one or more things that you truly want to have and/or experience in your life and ask yourself “Why I want this”. Why ask why? If your “WHY” is big enough it will overcome the fear of your conscious mind and you will be guided to the “How”.
It is not important to know how you are going to do something. It is important that you have a clear vision of what you want and why you want it. You then simply start taking steps toward it and be aware. If you find the steps you take are bringing you closer to what you want, keep going in that direction. If you find you are going farther away from what you want try something else. The worst thing you can ever do is to do nothing. As long as you are taking action you and you are aware you will receive the information you need to get anything and everything you want.
Resistance Is A Natural Part Of Change
One word of caution, resistance is a natural part of change even if it is positive. Many people experience resistance when they are making a positive change, and assume they must be doing something wrong. Resistance is to be expected. In fact the resistance will likely become greatest just before you make the big breakthrough.
Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield were turned down over 140 times before a publisher agreed to publish the first “Chicken Soup For The Soul” book. They had a very big “WHY”, and it didn’t matter what anybody else said or thought, they kept moving forward. To date the Chicken Soup For The Soul” book series has sold over 130 million books.
Is Your Why Big Enough?
What if they had stopped after being rejected 139 times would have ever heard of Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen? How big is you “WHY” Is it big enough that you are absolutely committed to going for what you say you want no matter what anyone else says or does? If not, there is another question you may want to ask yourself. “Do I really want what I say I want?”.
I would love to receive any comments you have to share.
