Can't Keep A Good Man DownI am not someone who is used to getting “sick”.  I have been in Germany the past month enjoying the holidays with my wife’s family.  A few days ago my wife and and brother in law came down with a very bad virus that completely knocked them out for a few days, and as I write this they are still not 100%.

I of course had/have great compassion for them, and was not at all concerned that I might suffer their same fate.  However at about 2am last night and for about the next 12 hours after that I was making frequent trips to the bathroom to throw up.  Once I was finished with denying that this was actually happening to me, I began to focus on what can I do to move through the experience as quickly as possible and regain my full strength.

There were four things that I did, that I believe have allowed me to rebound to 100% healthy after only 24 hours.

1.  I made a choice (which for me was difficult) to remain in bed the entire time.

2.  I drank only water during this time, at first only a couple of drops at a time and later a little bit more.

3.  I played relaxing/healing music (Bach)

4.  I meditated and visualized myself as healthy while gently making clockwise circles over my abdomen.

I believe these four steps are what have allowed me to rebound so quickly while my wife and brother in law are still suffering some lingering effects.  I also find the timing of this experience interesting.  I have been feeling urgings from the Universe to focus more my time on healing.  This is one of the reasons I am creating my Super Chakra Meditation Series.  I believe this will only be the beginning of what I create in the health and healing area in 2010.

I appreciate and welcome your comments and feedback.

Note:  I am flying back to the US on Wednesday, and as a result the normal Wednesday post will be delayed until Thursday.
